Dali was born on may 11, 1904 in figueres,spain.
When he was little, he was always encouraged to paint.

His life was very difficult, so when he went to school everyday, he was a bully. He and his father never got along well.His older brother died. In 1921 his mother died of breast cancer.
He had to retire painting because of a motor disorder that caused permanent trembling and weakness in his hands. Then in 1982 his wife and friend gala died. In 1984 dali was burned in a fire. Then in 1988 he died of a heart attack.
