Jacques Cartier
was a great traveler on a boat. he was born on december 31,1491 in St.Malo, brittany. I am sorry I can’t say Jacques Cartier family because it didn’t say it. I am sorry again it dose’t say where his education is. his occupation are french navigator and explorer. his death was on september 1,1557 at age 65 in ST.Malo,france.
he did three voyage hi first one was in 1534, Cartier set sail under a commission from the king, hoping to discover a western passage to the wealthy markets of Asia. sorry again I can’t find the second voyage so I will do the third voyage on October 17, 1540, Francis ordered the Breton navigator to return to Canada to lend weight to a colonization project of which he would be "captain general".
we remember him because he did three dangrous voyages. and he completed all of them and, survided.
Jacques Cartier is fun reading about because we know he did three danous voyages.
he was a good man we will alawlys remember him alwalys. we will never forget him.
