Robert Ballard

Robert Ballard was born June 30,1942.He grew up on the Pacific Beach at San Diego California.Robert Ballard's mother is German and his dad is British.When he was little he loved to go snorkeling.He loved to discover things when he was very little.

In school he did science technology.He also found something called Jason Project so he could response from all of the letters he got from people asking about the Titanic.The school he went to was called the University of Hawaii.Robert was a very good curious student.

A really cool thing about Robert Ballard is his job is an ocean explorer he gets to find sunken ships under the water.He uses deep diving submarines.When Robert Ballard was searching under water he found the sunken R.M.S Titanic and the German battleship! He also found a whole bunch of shipwrecks around the world!

Robert Ballard is not dead he is just 69 years old.Even though Robert is 69 he still is finding cool ships under water.

I hope that one day I can have a cool job like Robert Ballard and be an ocean explorer.If I get the job maybe I can find an important shipwreck just like Robert Ballard.
