Susan B. Anthony
Susan B. Anthony was born on February 15th 1820. I think she is influential because fought for her rights. She showed that you need to stand up for what you think or believe.
Susan B. Anthony was born in Adams, Massachusetts in 1820. She grew up in politicly active family. They helped to end slavery and tried to stop the sales of alcohol. She could read and write when she was three. She went to a public school when she was old enough. Her dad pulled her out to be home schooled because he thought they were not teaching her well enough. When she was 17 she went to a boarding school she didn't like. She then became a school teacher and administrator. She died on March 13th, 1906 in her house in Rochester, New York.
She is memorable for lecturing women's rights and spoke what she thought. She even made a organization to fight for women's rights. She gave a opportunity to join the organization.
I thought it was amazing how much trouble she went through and still did all of those great things. She switched schools a bunch of times and had a job and still did the organizations and lectures!
She had once quoted " Failure is impossible."
