Abe Lincoln
Abe lincoln was a very good guy. He was because he ended slavery
and that is pretty much all the stuff that he did. He began being president
on March 4th 1861 and he ended on April 15th 1865. He used to sell stuff
to people until he became president.

So what he did was pretty awesome,he ended slavery. He also led
people into the civil war. That's some of the things that he has done.

I wanted to read about him because I'm happy that he ended slavery
and that he lead people into the civil war.

He also used to work and sell things at a shop. Once he over paid some
one and he walked a few miles to the persons house.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born on March 1879 Ulm, Kingdom of Württemburg, Germany Empire

Albert Einstein married Mileva Maric on January 6 1903. They had 2 children. They were boys. Their son was a professor in tyldraulic engineering at California.

Albert Einstein was a scientist. He had to drop out of school because he was to smart.

In Europe he worked in a patent office. In America he was a professor. His dream job was to be a watch maker.

Albert spent his last thirty years struggling to figure out what he called " unified field theory". He never found his answer.

On April 1955 Albert was bleeding really bad. He tried to say a speech but he did not live long enough to complete his speech. He died in Princeton hospital.

He discovered the theory of relativity, E=mc2, Energy = Mass. An example atom bomb that dropped at the end of World At War 2.

I picked Albert Einstein because he was special to this world. If he wasn't here we wouldn't of discovered energy= mass.

When he tried to accomplish something he never gave up. He kept on going to solve a problem. He was a really good example to us.

The thing that was interesting about Albert Einstein is that he played the violin.

Susan B. Anthony

Susan B. Anthony
Susan B. Anthony was born on February 15th 1820. I think she is influential because fought for her rights. She showed that you need to stand up for what you think or believe.
Susan B. Anthony was born in Adams, Massachusetts in 1820. She grew up in politicly active family. They helped to end slavery and tried to stop the sales of alcohol. She could read and write when she was three. She went to a public school when she was old enough. Her dad pulled her out to be home schooled because he thought they were not teaching her well enough. When she was 17 she went to a boarding school she didn't like. She then became a school teacher and administrator. She died on March 13th, 1906 in her house in Rochester, New York.
She is memorable for lecturing women's rights and spoke what she thought. She even made a organization to fight for women's rights. She gave a opportunity to join the organization.
I thought it was amazing how much trouble she went through and still did all of those great things. She switched schools a bunch of times and had a job and still did the organizations and lectures!
She had once quoted " Failure is impossible."

Susan B. Anthony

Susan B. Anthony
Susan B. Anthony was born on February 15, 1820.She was born in Adams , Massachusetts. Her family was very active in the reform movements of the day. Susan B. Anthony was alive in the moments of slavery. Both of her parents and her sister signed the "Declaration of sentiments" at the second women's Rights Convention.

Susan B. Anthony was one of the people to go to school in the 1800's. The reason she got to go to school was because her father believed in equal treatment for boys and girls.

She worked on letting women vote too. She also got some people to help her. She thought it was unfair how men could only do things and women only stayed home and cleaned there house.

Then she died 14 years after her accomplishment. When she was alive, she tried to tell lots of people to join her plan. And that was Susan B. Anthony.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King
Martin Luther King was a great man he was born on January 15,1929 in Atlanta.Martin luther king had a great family he was a very caring person he was always there for his wife and kids. Martin Luther King was influential because he did a speech that was called I have a dream today.Martin Luther King said in is speech that the black people needed to be treated the same like the whites that it was not fair that the black people got hot water to drink and the white people get cold water!!So when he said that speech called I have a dream the president decided that he was going to take the signs off that said black and whites only.

Martin Luther King Jr. died when he was only 39 years old.He was assassinated in April 4,1968 in Tennessee. He was supposed to make a speech that day but someone assassinated him. What Martin Luther King Jr.did to make him memorable was that he tried so hard for the blacks to be treated exactly like the whites.Martin Luther king was so important for his speech and for what he did for the blacks and of course he didn't say his speech because he wanted to be important but he did it for the blacks would get treated just like the whites.Something that made me read about Martin Luther King Jr. was that he knew that the white people would not like him because of what he was doing but he did not care he did what was right and tried his best to take those signs off that said black and whites only!

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929. He was born in Atlanta Georgia.
Martin Luther King Jr, was black. In his time, blacks and whites were separated. Blacks were not treated as fairly as whites were. He didn't like that. He wanted to be treated fairly.
So Martin did a speech about how color doesn't matter. A lot of whites didn't like that idea. They would say boo and spit on him. He didn't care. He wanted to make a difference. A lot of people loved his idea. Soon it was changed.
More and more people thought it was a good idea. Soon he changed the world. All the blacks were treated fairly. Now the blacks can use the same drinking fountains and go to the same school. The whites used to get all the nicer things. They got perfect drinking fountains. The blacks got rusty fountains. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the way that was.

9/11

Hello my name is CJ. I worked at the wold trade center. On sept 11 at 1:00 I was having my lunch break. I heard the fire alarms. I was wondering what was happening. My office was on fire. I looked through the window and saw the other tower fall to the ground.

After I was running a brick fell on my arm and broke it. I was bleeding hard core. My friend that was next to me said to go to a exit.

When I was running to exit. I got out and the tower fell on my friend. After an hour I woke up in the hospital. My friend didn't make it.

The Titanic

The Titanic By MR
The Titanic took five years to build. It was the biggest ship at the time. Also the Titanic was the grandest ship. Its first trip was to New York. It was considered to be unsinkable. UNTIL it hit an iceberg off the coast off NewFoundLand at midnight.
Slowly it began to sink to the bottom of the ocean. Babies & Ladies were the first ones off, and not every baby got in. The life guards tried to get everyone on but some froze to death. They tried to get everyone so they wouldn't freeze. The captain and some others drowned that day.
It was famous because it was considered to be an unsinkable ship. It was the biggest ship in the world at that time. It had people that are rich and ones we might know about. The first voyage was a NIGHTMARE! This is the Titanic.

The Titanic

The Titanic
On April 10th 1912 The Titanic left England. It was heading to New York when they went in icy waters. At first no one cared. On April 12th 1912 The Titanic hit a iceberg.
People went in panic as it started to sink. They got as many people as they could on life rafts. The captain had grown a connection to The Titanic and decided to sink with it. As much people that did make it, still a number of 1,583 people died. It still haunts us to this day knowing how many people lost their lives. How many relatives were gone on that boat.

The Civil War

The Civil War

The North and South was different. The North was rich and built lots of things.they had lots of good workers.

The south Had lots of farmers. They were not very good at working.

The south wanted to have their own state and make the laws.

The north didn't want to split the country. In 1860 Abe Lincoln wanted to stop slavery. Lincoln was on the north's side.

The South said that if Lincoln won then they would leave. If the south won they would split the state.

The war lasted about four years. More than 600,000 people died and more than 1,100,000 people were hurt!

Finally, General Lee surrendered to general Grant. The war was done. The north won.
THE END!

Unsinkabel

Unsinkable
The Titanic was a HUGE ship that tried to sail from southampton, England to the U.S.The people who rode it were rich and poor. The rich people were at the top and the poor people were at the top.
They all thought it was unsinkable, but it hit an ice burg and started to sink. There was lifeboats ,so they said "woman and children first," but a lot of people died
The reason I chose this topic is because evan though it's sad I think it's important.

Super bowl one

Once in 1967 their was a feud. The feud was between the AFL and the NFL.
They never really liked each other that much. They don't like each other
So much that they were going to have a super bowl game against
each other.

So they had the championship games before the super bowl. So they
finished the championship games and the team that one would get to go
to the super bowl. The Chiefs came from the AFL and the Green Bay Packers
came from the NFL. So they planed to have the super bowl at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Then they had the big game. It was a hard game. No one really knew what
was going to happen. The star players of the game was Bart Starr(Green Bay Packers),
Max Mgee (Green Bay Packers),Dave Robinson (Chiefs) and Lee Roy Caffy(Chiefs).
At the end of the game the Green Bay Packers won. Then it only became the NFL
and the AFL was gone for good.

The Twin Towers Attacks

The Twin Towers Attacks
The Twin Towers Attacks were on September 11, 2001. It's also called the September 11 attacks. Some people call it 9/11.
There was a terrorist group called Al Qaeda. 19 of them hijacked 4 passenger jet planes. The hijackers of 1 of the planes didn't want the plane back under control, so they crashed it into the south tower. It happened in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. When the crashed it made a fire. The crash made the non fire coating come off. Because of that a war started. It's not a historical war, but it is a war.
I was born the same month, and the same year, but not the same day. I was born September 23, 2001. By:E.H.

The Tragic Titanic

The Tragic Titanic
The story of the titanic still lives today and is still as tragic.

Even though the boat took 5 years to make,it had a very short career. It was made of 3 million tons of steel metal. That's why it was called The Unsinkable Titanic. It could probably hold up to 3,000 people.
On April 4th 1912, close to midnight the boat hit an iceberg. It started to sink and nobody had anywhere to go except for the -12 degree water. Over 1,523 people died in the accident. Only 705 lived with
2,952 people in all. The titanic's voyage was supposed to be from England to New York, but as you can see it didn't make it........
The end.

Twin Towers

In the begging of 9/11 Bin Laden planned to send 3 of his helpers to crash the twin towers. Then in the middle of 9/11 the 1st helper went into the first airplane, and crashed into the first tower. Then the other two helpers crashed into the other tower. So what the three helpers actually did was suicide just to destroy the twin towers! Then the good people found Bin Laden four years later hiding in a cave.

Since this effected the people so much they built a big fountain of water where the twin towers used to be.Another thing they did is where they put the big fountain there where all the names of the people that died.

So from this day on we still remember that day! By:MM

September 11th

September 11th
In september 11th 2001,16 - 20 people
had a plan against America when we were
at war.The 16 - 12 people lived in Al-Qaeda
and had a plan to launch planes at USA.

The first two planes each went into one of
the twin towers in new york city.At the time of
9:03 A.M they hit.

The third hit at the pentagon in Virginia.
At the time of about 9:09 A.M they hit.

And the fourth in a field in pennsylvania,
which was supposed to go into the white
house.At about 9:20 they hit.

Last year the leader of the launching
Osama Bin Laden admitted it was his
idea to launch the planes.Now-a-days he
was found and killed.

We are still in war with Al-Qaeda
today. We plan to have the twin towers
repaired in may 2013.The pentagon
has already been repaired.That is
the story of september 11th when
the world changed!Ever science

airplanes.And now we have to
go threw a scanner before we
get on a airplane and get
checked!None of this
happened the twin towers

Attack On Pearl Harbor

On Sunday morning Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
They took over 300 planes and bombed Pear Harbor. They also put torpedoes in the water!! The reason they did this was to prevent the U.S. pacific fleet, from interfering with military actions the emperor of Japan was planning. The emperor was planning military actions in the Southeast Asia against overseas territories of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the U.S.
They killed over 2,400 Americans and wounded 1,282. Also one Japanese Soldier was captured.
The very next day Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed war against Japan and that was the start of World War Two.
He also proclaimed Dec 7, 1941, "A date which will live in infamy!"

It all started in sept 11 2001. Al Queda had to rob a pilot to crash into the twin towers. On sept11 the plane was going to another city in New York.

While going to another city it had to crash into the twin towers or else they were going to kill the pilot. So the pilot crashed into the twin towers. Moments later another pilot another pilot crashed into the other tower. Then one of the towers fell down. After the other fell down. So many people died and cried.

After the towers fell down fire men searched for survivors . They found a little bit of survivors. Years after Osama Bin Ladin died in 2011.

The Titanic

The Titanic in 1912
The Titanic was a massive boat built for the richest people in England. It took at least five years to build the Titanic. She stretched to 882 feet and weighed 21,831 tons. On April 10th, 1912 the Titanic took the first sailing on the ocean.

Later that night she set off with the current of the ocean. On April 14th, 1912 every thing was going fine. Everyone said that the Titanic was practically unsinkable, but it wasn't night quite yet. She did have a very small career on the ocean.

Around midnight, everything was going just like the dream cruise was planned. Then, the watchmen spotted a very large object which seemed to be a Iceberg not far ahead. Everyone was trying to get the oat turned, but it was to late! Slowly the dream ship was sinking. When the last life boat left, there was 1,523 people on the boat still.

The life boats got saved by a nearby ship called the Carpathia. The story of the Titanic still lives in our minds. It was the largest ship on & under the ocean at its time. The story of the "unsinkable ship" was everywhere on the news, the papers, and with family members of the survivors.

Twin Towers

Twin towers
The twin towers were the same no diffrence. Osama bin ladan wanted to kill every body so he made a plan. His plan was to send out some people to knock down the twin towers. On 9/11/2001 they flew some planes into the twin towers. Tons of people died but some lived.
After the first tower fell the second one did. Osama bin laden was hiding in a cave and he built a house thing in it. After a while they found him and they shot him. They went into the middle of the ocean and threw him in. That is what happend on the day of the twin towers.
