Horned Larks

Horned Larks are usually in the east not the west. It’s a small song bird. Usually you’ll find them in open with short grass or scattered bushes. They lay nest in dry alpine habitats.
They usually eat seeds of grasses, weeds, and waste grain. For babies they eat incests. The parents sometimes eat some too. Horned Larks go south in the winter just like every other bird, they come back in the spring.
