Pond Skater What I chose to research was the amazing Pond Skater. They are known water spiders, magic bugs, water scooters, water skippers, and Jesus Bugs. Some people think their cool and some don't think the same. Here are some characteristics of why some like them and some don't. What They Look Like They have 2 antennae's and four segments on both antennae's . They have short, stiff bristles in the 3rd segment. The segments combined are no longer the head. The thorax is long, narrow, and the size is small. The thorax ranges from 1.6 mm to 36 mm long. Some bodies are rounder then other ones. Where They Live These amazing creatures live in calm water or fresh water areas. Pond Skaters prefers a environment with insects and a place that has a lot of rocks and plants to lay eggs on. They want water about 25 degrees and under 22 they don't want. What They Eat They eat whatever falls in the water like spiders or any insects. It will usually share big kills with other insects. The Ladybug The ladybug is black, The ladybug is red, The ladybug has antennas on its head! The ladybug has a red elytra with black dots on it. Under the elytra is a wing. And under the wing is the abdomen. Under the abdomen are the legs. The ladybug is also known as the scientific name Coccinellidae. Ladybugs prefer warmer weather but they can live anywhere! Photinus Pyralis A Photinus Pyralis is a firefly and glows at night.Each firefly flashes its light in a pattern to tell its species. A Photinus Pyralis lives in a warm environment.Photinus Pyralis lives in Asia or America.Photinus Pyralisis mostly found in drier areas,they are found around wet areas that have moisture. Females put there eggs in the ground.Scientist do not know how fireflies turn there lights off and on.Lots of people call fireflies glow worms.Underground larvae feed on worms and slugs by injecting them with a numbing fluid. The Blue Morpho Butterfly

The Blue Morapho Butterfly Butterflies are one of the most prettiest incests alive. There wings have awesome designees. When they fly they are so pretty. The Blue Morpho Butter fly can be lighter blue are darker blue. They have wings like all ButterFlys. Most of the Blue Morpho ButterFlys have black out lines on there wings. Butterflies all have different wings but some of the Blue Morpho butterflies have the same wings. The Blue Morpho Butterfly's live in the rain forest in south america or mexico. You will most likely find the Blue Morpho Butter flies on the floor of the rain forest. The Blue Morpho Butter flies eats different things in it's different stages of life. The adult Blue Morpho Butter fly can not chew so it drinks it's food. It drinks from rotting fruit. It also drinks wet mud. A baby Blue Morpho Butterfly can chew so it eat's anything. The Ulysses Butterfly

The Ulysses Butterfly Butterflies are beautiful insects, all though they are pretty, they are also fisty. They hardly ever leave the sky and the air.They go through four stages in their life,Egg(first),Larva(second),Pupa(third), then an Adult(fourth). My butterfly is a ulysses butterfly. it is also known as The Blue Mountain Swallowtail,The Blue Emperor,and The Mountain Blue. It has sort of an Italian Bluish color.It lives in Tropical Rain Forests. They hardly ever come to where we are, they have to stand on wet land, not dry land. They are usually found in Australia,Indonesia,and other near by places. Their wingspan is about five and a half inches long. When people hunt down these beautiful butterflies, if they get caught, they can get in alot of trouble, like JAIL trouble. These butterflies sound interesting, don't they? Peru

I want to move to Lima, Peru. I would go there because my mom's part of the family is over there. I also, want to go there because of the food and places there is. I would go there because of the tasty, food like sliced hotdog with curly fries and chicken. There is also, salad with fish. They give you that with soda called "Inka cola". Not all of there foods are from Peru like the curl fries,but they still use it as a side dish. The places in peru are beautiful, like a places made out of crystals. I want to explore there to. I would go to peru, machupicu to explore This is where I would go anywhere in the world.

My Opinion

My Opinion is that we should keep the end of the year testing. I think that because we should try to remember all that we learned over the year. Another reason is that the test we are taking will help us go to the grade above us.For example, I’m in fourth grade and soon I’ll be in fifth grade. The last reason is that the questions in the are very helpful because some of them help us by understanding more things.

The first reason I said was that we should remember the things we learned over the year. I said that because it is our job to remember all the things we learned over the year. One thing I also think is that we have the end of the year test to see if we were listening when the teachers were talking.

Another reason I said was that we need to take that test to get ready for the grade above us. I think that because the questions are things that we already know.

The last reason is that the questions in the test are very helpful and help us understand more things. It also helps us get smarter than we already are.

Well, thats why I think we should keep testing. (Because we need to remember things, get ready for next year, and get help from the answers to a question.

Sedan, Kansas

I want to go to Kansas because it is really fun. There are kittens I like to play with. They are so cute. There is an ice cream shop.the scoops are about as big as my hand. Each scoop is only one dollar. There is a park called the hollows. There is a swing set and a see-saw. There is a bridge and a little stream. There's lots of cardinals there. There are frogs hopping around on the ground. Kansas is very fun.

My second reason is because my grandpa has a house there. It has a little game cabinet there and puzzles and cards and board games. I remember I visited Kansas once and I can tell you one thing, it is not a desert, at lest not in sedan. It was pouring. The rain drops were as big as my hand. The curbs were gushing with water. You couldn't even step outside for one second without getting soaked. it was very fun to splashing the puddles everywhere. It was fun. That is why I want to go to Kansas.

If I could go to any country it would be AMERICA SAMOA because my parents were born there also . Because my grandma lives there and it just looks so awesome .

Why I really want to go is because my parents always talk about how cool and awesome it is . She would talk about her childhood and it sounds really awesome so thats why I want to go visit

I also would want to go because of the food because no one else can make that kind of food because it is the bomb .com once you get a bite your going to keep on wanting more and more.

The other reason why is because the ocean looks so cool and I just wish I can go down there and swim with my parents and (bros) (sis) .

I like Samoa also because theres a lot of polys there and I just like being at a place were theres lots of of people that are my type .

Last but not least I love Samoa its the best its also the bomb .com . Its also very cool because lots of polys live there and there strong and they have awesome tattoos that look so cool!!!

I choose fiji,because it's beautiful, and they have delicious foods like coconuts, fruits, and veggies. Did you know that the sale a pile of tomatoes for only 1 or 2 dollars. They also grow there own fruit and veggies. There is nothing better than growing your own fruits and veggies.
Fiji is also very hot. In the cooler season is 22°C
(72°F.) The temperature changes from 31°C to 88°F. They wear lightweight clothing in the summer, and rain jackets in the winter. Even in the winter it is still pretty hot, because it gets to 84°F then it gets cold and changes from hot to 29°C in the winter.
There language looks weird, see this is hello in Fijian ni sa Bula (née sar Bula). It sounds funny like please in there language yalo vinaka (yarlo veenarka). Well maybe to the Fijians are language sounds funny ni sa moce, (née Sah moh). That means good bye in Fijian.

Testing

TESTING
My opinion is to have testing at the end of the year.One reason is that we can know the subject in 5th grade testing.The other reason is that we can remember what we did in the past and knowing the answer that time.Thats why we should have testing.

Another reason is we need to have the test so when were in 5th grade we can remember the answer.And so we can get smarter and remember what to do on the test.The other thing is we don't have to worry about choosing what the right answer because we already know what to do.

The last things are that we need testing so we can go onto the next grade.These are the reasons why we need testing.One,we can know what we did in the past.Second,we can get smarter in the next grade.So I say:

I think that all of the students should be tested at the end of the year.
I think that the students should take the end of the year test because the teachers need to know if they get any better. If the teachers did not know if the students got any better they would not know if they should move on to the next grade. The parents would want to know if the kids are getting any better.

My opinion is I think that we should take the test at the end of the year because if we don't take the end of the year test then we studied for nothing!Yes of course some people don't like taking test but it's worth it.

I think that our teachers should test us at the end of the year. These are my 3 reasons why I think that we should test at the end of the year.

Argentina
If i could move to any country,i would move to Argentina.I would move to Argentina because i have no family here and they are all in Argentina and it makes me sad when they can't make it to my birthday party's,but the good thing is,is that my grandpa (the one I haven't met) is coming over this Summer for my birthday and is taking me to Las Vegas.

Also,Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world and i love big places.In Argentina,people speak Spanish and people only go to school until they are 18.Did I mention that i am from Argentina.

The main reason why i want to move to Argentina is because of it's and the how the beutiful waterfalls never stop flowing down the stream.

Well,that is why I would love to live in Argentina.

What Country?

What Country?
If I could move to any country in the world, I would move to France. Why I want to move to france, is because I want to learn how to speak french. I think that the language is very pretty and flowy. I think its very different then the way we write and speak. Another reason I want to move there is because of their food. They have some delicious food there. The first thing I would do when I got to france, is see the eiffel tower. It is so big and so pretty! I really want to move or go to france some day!.!.!.!.! By: MMY

Brazil
If I were to move to a different country, I would move to Brazil.
The first reason I would move to brazil is because of the weather. It is always warm there. During winter it doesn't snow. Only rain. Even in winter it's warm. I hate cold weather. I love it warm. You could go to the beach. Or ride a bike.
Another reason is my family history. My dad's side of the family comes from Brazil. They are very fun and festive. The parties are great. I've always wanted to live there wasn't my dad, I probably wouldn't want to live there.
Another reason is the language. It's kind of weird but there is no K in the Brazilian alphabet. They have letters that sound like K. It's kind of odd but, I love love the way the words sound, and how it rolls off my tongue. I know some Portuguese (the language) but not much.
My last reason is the FOOD!!!! Yum!! You have probably tasted it in Brazilian restaurants but it's better in Brazil. It's good here. But better it's from the country it comes from. It's the best food I have tasted. EVER!!!!!!
Those are the reasons I want to move to Brazil.

BYU

I want to go to BYU because they have good sports teams and they teach their students well when the students want to do something.

One day I was talking to my teacher Miss.Harper and then she started to talk about BYU and she said stuff that I thought that were pretty cool.So I decided to go to BYU.

I'm so close to home.And that means I could ride my bike and I would not have to move closer to BYU and I could still live my parents and visit them.I would take a bus if I did not want to ride my bike.

Also BYU has a job that I want to do witch is a Photographer person who takes photos.Or also I would want to be a artist who draws pictures of people or Famous places.

BYU is a good place to go to College and other colleges are good to.But i think that BYU teaches you the things that you want to do very well.Also it has good sports teams.

australia has good restraint like a seafood place right by the ocean. they have pizza there to i thought they didn’t have it, and some fast food places.

they have landscapes like tall a rock place which looks awesome. there was a plane crash near by that it landed in the wrong place.

people will like it because there are beaches and there is a little island that is surround by rapids so you will need a boat. they can swim and that is way i want to go to australia.

Interior Design l d s college

I want to go to the interior design L DS college.The reason I want to go is because there is a big fashion place mall and a gateway right by the college.Its so awesome because whenever I want to go out shopping I can just go right next door.Fashion place is a very big awesome mall.

Another reason why is because I like to design and match stuff.Designing houses which is interior design is my favorite.Putting cute matching stuff in to rooms is awesome.Designing fun rooms like movie theater room and game rooms are the most fun!I love finding cute stuff to match each room!
I also like interior design because being a designer of a very fancy house for different important people you. Get payed really good.Also the interior design l d s college has very nice dorms you can live in!

I like how the interior design l d s college has very good and smart teachers to help people with school work.

Moving to Fiji

Moving To Fiji

Fiji is beautiful!!!!!! Even though Fiji is small, it has great sights and pretty beaches.
The people in Fiji have a great assortment of vegetables strait from the farmers! There are piles of tomatoes, eggplant, and cucumber only for 1 or 2 dollars! They have lots of herbs and spices, and they grow there own fruits! ( bananas, oranges, pawpaw- a green yellow fruit with seeds- and passion fruit- assortment of colors with seeds-) They eat most of there meals with there fingers!!!!!!!!!!!
The people in fiji are very very poor, but they are sooooooo nice!! I know this because my grandma has been there twice. They are modest and love to dance!!! They love visitors and shake hands with them and if you go they will ask you where the are from. Most of the people are black. They love to recycle so much that sometimes they make boats out of bottles!!!
Fiji is a great place for fun but you can also lat back and relax!
These are the reasons that I chose to move to Fiji.

Mexico

If I could live in any country in the world I would choose Mexico. I would choose it because most of my family lives there. I would probably choose it to because I would like to know how it feels to live there. Te last thing is the culture. To me the culture is very important.

Well, the first reason I wrote was about my family- My grandma and grandpa, my cousins, aunts, and uncles- because family is very important. And that’s another reason why I want to live there. (Because my family lives there.)

Another reason is that I have never gone to Mexico. Well, I have gone when I was two but, that was long ago. I have also heard that Mexico is very different. I would really like to see how it feels to live in Mexico.

The last reason is that the temperature is in Mexico is different. In Mexico the temperature is warm and cold. And warm and cold are great for me.

Well, that is why I would live in Mexico.(Because the weather, I have never been there, and my family lives there.)

Iran!!
My choice is someday I would live in Iran.Because my grandpa is from Iran and can speak the language.In Iran they have 6 deserts in the land.It also has a railroad.Thats why I want to go to Iran.

Another thing is they have 2 gulfs in there country and have a caspian sea which would really be enjoyable.They have 19 mountains.If I lived there I would hike some of the mountains.Thats why I want to live there.

My last reasons are that I want to live in Iran with my grandpa so he can translate,enjoy the caspian sea and mountains,and the last thing is I just want to have fun with my family.

Salt Lake City College
I want to go to e LakeCity College I want to go there because it has what i am looking for is Fashion Designing and Salt Lake City College has fashion Designing!

I want to go to Salt Lake City College because when I want to design clothes i can design my own clothes To make them fashionable.Also because it's in Salt Lake Salt Lake has a lot of cool stores and when all my classes are over i can drive to the Gate way because the Gate way is in Salt Lake.

Also because Salt Lake isn't far from home thats another reason I want to go to Salt Lake City College.

Dixie St.
I am going to Dixie St. University. I need to go to college.
I want to go to Dixie St for three reasons. The first reason is to just go to college and study physiology and how to be doctor. Doctors make good money, and with the way I want to live, I'll need some of it. If I get to be good in college and become a doctor, I will be happy.
The next reason I want to go to Dixie St is their soccer team. They are supposed to have a good soccer team and I love soccer. It's all I do at recess and to do it in college would be awesome.
The last reason is I need to get away from my parents. Nag, nag, nag, do this, do that, all day! Dixie St is in St George and I think that will be enough space between me and my parents. You learn and can get away from your parents, amazing! I am definitely going to Dixie St!

Going to France!

I want to move to France someday. I think that Eiffel Tower would be an amazing experience to see in person. The language is very pretty & FANCY!

It's a very pretty place. I've seen pictures of paris at night, and it is the most beautiful place ever!!! In my opinion, it's #1 in beauty.

Paris is a very popular place, and I could make lots of friends. I think that they would be nice, too. Maybe I could have a wonderful life in Paris.

France maybe kind of chilly, but that's Europe for you. It'll never change. I've never been there, so I want to go and see it myself.

France has really good bakery fresh bread and homemade spaghetti. They are very yummy. I haven't had them but I heard its delicious! And since I haven't, that's the whole point!

France would be an amazing place to be right now. I wish I was! I would learn the language, and fit right in!

That's why I want to go to France!

I would like to move to England because I want one of those cool assents like they have. I want to a cool assent because I can order people around and it can sound cool. I also want a cool assent like that because I can be different than all of my friends.
I want to move to England because they have a ton of cool events. I could become famous from all of those events. I will also have tons of fun.

Mexico

If I had the chance to move to a country, it would probably be Mexico. I’m going to tell you my three reasons why I want to live I would want to live in Mexico.

My first reason why I would like to live in Mexico is because the food and candy there. There are some candy at Mexico that they don’t have in the United States, and because I’m mexican, the food there tastes really good. That is my first reason why I would like to live in Mexico.

Another reason why I would like to live in Mexico is because most of my family lives there. I have some that live in the United States but most of them live in mexico. I would also like to see them, I have some family there that I’ve never seen, I haven’t seen a lot of my family. That is another reason why I would like to live in Mexico.

My last reason why I would like to live in Mexico is because the climate there. It is always warm there because Mexico is in the equator. Instead of always having to wait for winter to end so we could do stuff outside, we will never have to wait until winter ends. I can play soccer in the morning without it being cold. I can go fishing every day at the morning with my family while it is not cold, and fishing in the morning and night is the best time to go fishing. That is my last reason why I would like to live in Mexico.

Those are my three reasons why I would like to live in Mexico.

Moving to China

I would chose China.It may sound like a dumb idea because they don't have that much freedom.I would go there because they have great food. I like their orange chicken because there a little hot and 58squishy at the same time. The noodles are my second favorite food in China. They are slimy and wiggly. My favorite snack in China is the fortune cookies. They have awesome fortunes and riddles.

The second reason I would go to China is their culture. Would it be awesome if it was my birthday and they gave me a little dragon suit.

The third reason is they get the new stuff first. A couple days ago the new IPad was coming to China and there was a huge line in front of a mall. They were waiting for the mall to open to get there new IPads.It was on the news and they said it would be in the U.S. In a few months. That was no fair. Those are the reasons I want to move to China.

Fun, Fancy, & France
I want to move to France. I've seen the Eiffel Tower in pictures at night and it's beautiful. They have cool language and I want to want to learn it. My says I have ancestors that used to live there. I say it is BEAUTIFUL at night!!
The Eiffel Tower is amazing sometimes. I picture it in clothes with an artist hat. It is way beautiful. Some of my cousins live there. They sent pictures and it was wonderful,. At night different color of lights shine on it and it is like I would be dreaming. Just imagine standing at the top looking over the dark city.
They have language that I didn't understand at first. So I went to the library with my mom and we got a book that was about different languages. When I sent my cousin a letter to him, he was surprised I knew French. I told him I learned in a book from a library.
My dad didn't tell me my ancestors names so it was confusing. I want to live where my ancestors used to live. Its pretty cool where your ancestors lived.
I want to move there because they have fresh, warm bread. Also they have chilly and warm whether there. It is beautiful!! It seems like a good place to live. I want to live in France!

College?
I want to go to BYU. I want to go to BYU because I want to be a teacher. If you want to be a lawyer or a teacher you should go to BYU.
Another reason is the way they teach you. It's fun and educational at the same time. It never gets boring. You can always have fun. It also has it's own museum. Fun and educational.
Also it's close to home. I can visit my family easily. Instead or driving hours in the car, it's more like 5 minutes. It's great to go new places. But home is a great place too.
One thing is you have to have good grades. I've always had good grades, so I'm confident that I will get in.

When I grow up I want to go to BYU. It's a great place to learn how to take care of kids.
It's the best place to learn how to take care of kids. I will need to know how to take care of kids because I want to be a mom.
It's also close enough to home for me to still live at home. I can learn house work at home.
I will learn so I can help my kids with their home work. They might have a hard time(I doubt it).
Thats why I want to go to BYU.

You get sent to a school to be a student teacher for a month or two your teacher comes in and watches you and tells you if you can become a teacher.

Ready... Set... Career !!

If I get to choose a college it would be B.Y.U.. I heard it is a good school if you want to become a teacher. I would be homesick if I went to any other college. Maybe I could ride my bike to B.Y.U.. Going to BYU will help me stay by my mom.
We might have a lot to do but it has been a dream since I was little. My dad got me a white board for Christmas and I have not thrown it away yet. My teacher went to BYU and it must have been her dream job. I like BYU because I like living in Provo because I know it like the palm of my hand. Also I want to be by my friend and we both want to be a teacher.
It would be sad not going to the same school. I would like to go to BYU and help kids learn and have a job like me. All the teachers that came back from BYU were nice. I want to stay by my mom for how long she is alive. She cooks good too.
I want to work at Spring Creek Elementary because I love this school. Also I want to teach 4th, Kindergartens, and 2nd grade. I love teaching!! You would see me teach my dad something new everyday. BYU is an awesome college.
I am going to BYU to stay with my friend Kaytlyn M. I want to learn and help any school. I don't care if I am a helper. I don't care if I have to teach music. I just want to teach. I LOVE BYU.

College Careers

When i'm old enough to go to college, I want to go to B.Y.U.. I want to go there because it's close to my mom. I also want to go there because I heard it's a great school.

Going to B.Y.U. would help me stay close to my mom. Since I live in Provo and B.Y.U. is in Provo, its a win win situation. I want too stay with her as long as I can because an average human has only so many years to live.

B.Y.U. has classes that help you to be a teacher. I have always dreamed to be a teacher. And get a degree from B.Y.U.. It is the best school in my opinion............... EVER!!!!!!!! B.Y.U. is my dream school/college.

I want to help kids just like me get to where i'll be someday. It will make a difference if there is more teachers. There will be less of a risk for poor/homeless people if they get a better education.

I don't care if people say it sucks. If it does it does, but probably not. I think it would be amazing to go there. I have always said that B.Y.U. will be my college.

Wetlands!
I think we should save the wetlands (Utah Lake). Think how selfish people are being by putting a Disneyland where a wetland is. How would you feel if you were a fish or other sea animal? Plus, I love to swim in Utah Lake.
I'm not the only one who likes swimming too. Lots of people like to also. You can swim, boat, picnic, water ski, and do that hang gliding thingy. Doesn't that sound awesome?
I remember the time I went on my dad's boat. It was one of the funnest experiences I've ever had. Once again Disneyland want people like me to not have fun. There was a lot of other people were there and they looked they were having a good time too.
As you can see fun is a big thing at Utah Lake. Why would any one want to tear it down?

I want to go to BYU when I go to college.I want to go there so I can get a good education and a scholarship to be a athlete.A reason is because I like BYU and my cousin goes to BYU and tells us whats Its like over there.And because it has a good education.

Whats important in school is Independent study, Conferences,and degree information.Those are really important things.A reason is they have mormons and I'm mormon so I'll have my friends there.And my other friend will join the woman's bball team and even me.

I am going to college

Guess what I'm going to college!!!! The college I am going to attend is BYU. These are some reasons why.

One of them is they have high standards. They have a good dress code. They have a good strict policy.

Also it's close to home. I can save money by living at home. My mom can still cook for me. I want that.

They also have a good football program. You have to be invited to try out so I will work harder. Also you have to have good grades so I will work harder, too.

Fruit and Veggies
When that fruit (or veggie) basket comes through that door it's like Christmas all over again. I don't know if you ever have but, I think 'I'm so lucky' why do I think I'm lucky? Think about it. Not many schools get this. I don't know any that do.
Well do you believe that they might stop!! The reason is your NOT EATING YOUR VEGGIES!!!!!!! They are spending a lot of money in those veggies. To much money. If you don't eat them they're wasting money.
Say a new thing comes in the door. You have never tried it before. Then you say 'No I hate that!' Try it! Just try it. It might not be so bad. That's happened to plenty of people before. They try new food and LOVE IT! You never know you might love it. They're healthy, good for you.
I want to keep them. Like I said, it's Christmas all over again.

The Wetlands

I think that people should save the wetlands.Who would want to destroy beautiful creatures like Blue Herons, Grebes, and Swans.We do not want to lose the beautiful sight of the beautiful creatures of the wetlands.

Disney Land and Disney World are still very fun but it sort of hurts me to hear that they are not only destroying the wetlands but they are also destroying the animals that live on the wetlands.

It also isn't a very good idea to build on wetlands because it isn't a safe ground to build on.If it doesn't work out it will it will cost to much money to build again.

Wetland VS Disney Land

The government has been wondering to take the wetland and replace it with a Disney Land. What I think is that they should these are my 3 reasons why I want a Disney land.

They can just take all of the animals and take it to another wetland.
Another reason why is that there is one in California and Florida. That's super far just to go to a the theme park.
They can get tons of money because people love Disney land. They risk their own money just to travel to California or Florida. Just save money and make one HERE.

Yes to wetlands

Yes to wetlands!
I would say yes to wetlands anytime.But if the building people came up to destroy the wetland for a Disneyland,Utah I would have to think about that idea for a whole month.It ruins the home for animals who live in the wetland.

Even though I'm giving up a huge opportunity to have a Disneyland,Utah.It also depends where there going to put it.I wouldn't like if they would put it in a wetland.

It wouldn't be fair to the animals because their home would get ruined and where would they find food or water or shelter?I would be very disappointed if they did that to a animals home.

So I think we wouldn't have a Disneyland,Utah so they wouldn't ruin animals home.And we would have enough animals for the vet people can take care of them when they get sick.

Wonderful Wetlands
I think that we should keep the Wetlands because lots of animals live there. The park would destroy our world, water, and wildlife! Besides, if we put a park there it would ruin instead of save the world. The gas, the oil, the smoke it would be fun yet polluting.

The habitats all over the world are being destroyed. Animals are important too, their homes aren't made for our personal use they're made to keep an animal safe. A lot of animals and its our fault. The world has animals for a reason.....to make it PRETTY!!!!

Wetlands are a part of the world too. We would no longer get the sweet fish without them. They aren't our enemies, they have things to offer like clams. They aren't hurting us............... why are we hurting them it's just cruel.

Wetlands keep us cool and happy in summer. The Provo Lake is 3 times less of a cost than any other public pool. We pay more than we should to just enjoy going swimming in the Summer time. Theyhelp save trees and money too.

Save The Wetland!!!

I think we should save the wetlands instead of building disneyland. Destroying the wetlands is destroying nature. One day in third grade we went to a park to pick up trash. In the park there was a wetland. When we went inside the wetland the air was so fresh. I was able to breathe like never before. The trees making us shade, slightly any sunlight. It was such a peaceful place. All the green plants and trees made it so beautiful. So quiet and calm.
One reason why I think we should save the wetland because there are a lot of trees and trees give us oxygen. When people go to a wetland they breathe in air and breathe out carbon dioxide. But than there will be nothing to breathe in the carbon dioxide and turn it back into air. Soon after the air will be getting worse and worse. Soon after the air will get really bad and will spread. Making the other air worse. That is one reason why I think we should save the wetland.
Another reason why i think we should save the wetland is because Disneyland has nothing nature about it. Just machines and roller coasters. But the wetland is 100% nature. Everything is made by nature. That is what makes a wetland so beautiful. That is another reason why I think we should save the wetlands.
My last reason why I think we should save the wetland is because if we destroy the wetland we are going to kill all the animals that live there. Its like one day we were just minding our own business then the next day a big giant destroys Utah and kills us. It is just the same except that they are animals. That is another reason why I think we should save the wetlands.

If I had a choice ether to tear the wetlands down to build a fun park or to keep the wetlands there, I would choose to save the wetlands.

Wetlands are pretty, nice and peaceful, animals live there happily, and for a plus its FREE! Were as fun parks cost money, there all man made there is nothing nice about them and for a minus by killing plants and animals we are also hurting ourselves!

Fun parks are fun but wetlands are good for everyone. Fun parks pollute the air and it is bad for everyone. That is my opinion about this.

Keep The Wet Lands

Fruit and Veggie

I think fruit and veggie basket is good and we should keep it. I have three reasons to keep the fruit and veggie basket.
Have you ever had something happen when your so hungry and you just want to eat something so bad, then the t.a. Comes in with the fruit and veggie basket.I wonder what it is, you think as the t.a puts it on the teacher's desk. You run up to get a snack. You take one out and it's a big,
Beautiful, Red, juicy looking apple. You take it back to your desk. You take a big bite and hear that yummy crunching sound. You can taste the sweet, deliciousness of that yummy apple. That is one reason why we should keep the fruit and veggie basket.
My second reason is that it is healthy. Apples and other fruit are very healthy because they can reduce colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer.most fruit and vegetables have lots of vitamin C. Fruit can also help with heart disease, weight loss, and controlling cholesterol.those are some reasons why we should keep fruit basket.
My third reason is that it is yummy. Can we go back to the second paragraph where we talked about being hungry and getting that yummy apple? Okay, so you just took a big bite of the apple. You can taste the sweet juicy delicious apple. The apple is very refreshing and it's not just the apple and fruit it is vegetables, too. Veggies are nice and crisp. They are also juicy. Those are my three reasons why we should keep the fruit and veggie basket.

Wetlands vs fun

Wetlands are a beautiful place. The place where nature grows naturally.
Where animals live peacefully! Wetlands are calm and perfect. Fun parks

Can you imagine the cute little fish and frogs living in a wetland with a beautiful habitat. Well what if I told you they might destroy it and make an amusement park? Well they might so what do you think of that? I say yes to wetlands and that people can just go somewhere else for amusement besides we already have a ton of amusement in Utah.

Beautiful Wetland
My favorite day with my Aunt was when we went to a Wetland. I saw these little baby frogs. They didn't even grown their back legs to jump with. So don't dump gas or anything bad in the water. Wetlands are beautiful when the sun is going down.
If you enjoy peace you could visit one and watch ducklings with it's mother. You might see interesting animals. Like frogs, new insects you never seen before, and a lot more. I think we should save the Wetlands!!!! Birds and other animals live in the Wetlands so if you build buildings or what ever, your killing animals.
You are killing habitats and animals nature made. Wetlands are beautiful!! If you go outside for like twenty minutes you would know what I'm talking about. If your mad just go to a Wetland and draw or read a book. If you don't like parks or anything, go see if you like a Wetland.
If the Wetland would go I would seriously cry for days if it got destroyed. You might kill animals when you tear it apart. We wouldn't get nutrition from fish. Where would we get swimming pool water from. It wouldn't be much fun walking on the ground and jumping.
Animals are being endangered because it's our fault. I wish there was no such thing like buildings so we could enjoy nature. I hope you guys know what I mean. Save Wetlands. Please help save the Wetlands!

Don't you just love that juicy taste of an apple or a different fruit, I know I do. I think we should keep the fruit and veggie basket, have seen the we look at the fruit or veggie when it's being passed out during read aloud, we get so happy miss Harper has to stop reading.

We could maybe have more fruit than veggies. Nobody would eats the veggies. Also because we don't even try the veggies. Also if we get some we trow the away.
We could choose better veggies. Like when we get carrots lots of people eat them, but when we get baby tomatoes nobody eats them. Like instead of celery we could have cherries. Some people don't even try the veggie.
You should agree with me, because everyone loves fruit and some veggies. I remember we would always come home to a delicious fruit. This is why we should keep the fruit and veggie basket.

Save the Fruit and Veggie Basket
I know I love it when I eat a fresh apple or a carrot and feel the burst of flavor. That's what I like about the fruit and veggie basket. In my opinion the fruit and veggie basket is a really good idea. Not only does it keep the hunger of kids satisfied, but it is also really healthy.
Think about it, people are trying to take a healthy snack away from children. I always feel so happy when our teacher helper comes in my class with the basket. And from the looks of it 90% of the class is too. People think they are wasting $$$ money on the basket. It has been going on long enough to see what fruits and vegetables kids don't like.For example, the cherry tomatoes should not be bought. Everyone thinks they are disgusting, and the only two people that get them have still a hard time eating them. Jicama is the same deal, a few more people like it but it is still pretty bad. If the people who buy the baskets realize this, it will be a lot nicer to their wallets.
In conclusion we can get a better view of how I see it. So keep in mind of how the fruit and veggie basket is not only a good idea, but healthy too. Thank you for listening.

Fruit and Veggie Baskets?
I think we should get rid of our fruit and veggie baskets, or improve what we do about them. Sure we might get hungry but why waste money on something we waste?
It is like throwing away money. Take my dad for a example. He hardly ever buys things that will go to waste easily.
Fruit and veggies are good, but most people only eat the fruit. Veggies are also good. Maybe you should encourage people to eat ore veggies.
Maybe before you buy the snacks you could tell the teachers what the snacks are that week and have them see how many people want what. Then you could get a certain amount of food.
This is why I think we should either get rid of our fruit and veggie baskets or improve what we do about them.

Don't you LOVE the juicy feeling when you bite into an apple. I think we should keep the fruit basket you should try the fruit every day they have the fruit basket. I used to not apples but I tried them every day there was apples and at home.
You should eat fruit and veggies to become stronger and heather. You can encourage your kids to eat fruit and veggies when you get older. You will not take drugs and bad stuff when you get older. You should eat heathy because you could die some people die because they do not eat heathy when they were young. They also did not eat heathy in there middle years. I think our school should still have the fruit and veggie basket.For example whenever the basket comes in everybody is so excited.I am the most excited when it is apple or banana day.If you saw the faces of my classmates when the basket comes in you will know.The taste of them is just so wonderful!!Fruit and veggies have always been my favorite.

Our school is very determined to get our school to eat healthy.They are so determined that they used to give out prizes if you eat all of your fruits and veggies.They gave out quarters so you could go to the library and buy erasers.

Fruit/Veggie Basket
When that basket comes in through the door,I feel lucky.The reason that I feel lucky is because most school's don't get the fruit and veggie basket because they can not afford it like our school can.Whenever i see that people throw there fruits on the floor,I feel bad that the people who paid for the fruits let their money go to waist.

I think that we should first listen to what we are getting that day and then the students will vote if they should get it that day or not and it will depend on what the class votes and if they do get it that day,then the people who voted to not get it that day won't get one and the teacher will give out the extras to the people who wanted one.This is what i feel when i see the basket come it through the door,to me it feels like it is christmas Christmas time and I just cannot stand the rich smell of what comes out of the the holes from the basket.

You should thank Max Reid for giving and picking up the fruit basket and wasting his time.You should be thankful for getting the basket.If you get the fruit or veggie for no reason and just to throw it on the floor,you should be smart and think,will anyone else want this and if nobody does,then give it to the teacher and say "I don't want this" and give it back.

Every day on Monday, wednesday, and Thursday we get a fruit and veggie basket. Would you like a nice juicy apple after a hot recess? Or nice sweet orange after a hard day of work at school? I have this happen to me so I like it.

One of the many reasons that we should have it is because it can help people stay healthy. If we are healthy we can do more stuff. Also we won't be sick so we will com to school.

It can encourage kids to stay healthy. At home we will eat healthy.
Also maybe we will be more active.

They could have a late or early lunch. If we have a late lunch then we can get really hungary. Or if we have a early lunch we can get hungary after lunch.

When we get that juicy pineapple you just want to slurp the juice out of it. After, a day of learning you can just forget about that and put 100% focus on the juicy pineapple.
When first I want to say I think we should have the basket.
When we get the basket its like lunch all over again. They give us healthy food too.
I think we should have it because some people go to lunch late and they might have ran out of what they want to eat.
If you play sports you need healthy food like a banana. I think its better to eat a banana then to eat a fat greasy Hamburger. Even thought you spend billions of dollars

Fruit And Veggie Basket

I think that the school should keep the fruit and veggie basket
When you eat those fruits its like your in anther world called that good feeling world.Why I think Im in anther world is because the fruits have hat juicy taste and their juice is so good.

A few years ago Spring Creek had a little activity thing that is if you ate your veggies and fruit you would get a quarter to spend in the library and get a earsers that are liked scissored shaped and things like that.

I like that the school has the fruit and veggie basket because the school gets kids eating fruits and veggies.And also lets them like the fruits and veggies so the kids can eat the veggies and fruit each time the school buys them.Also the kids can try new fruits or veggies and like new things.

Eating heathy is good,It makes You heathy.I think that no other school has Fruits Or Veggies.I love eating heathy it is so good for YOU and YOUR body.

Fruit and Veggie basket
At the end of school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays we have snack either a fruit or veggie. I love it. I love it when I bite in to a cherry tomato and it explodes in my mouth or when you her the sound of chewing a crunchy and healthy apple. But unfortunately all this goodness is being wasted!
Every one likes them in my world but really all the kids take one don't like it and throw the rest of it out. That does not make me happy. I just wish people will realize how good it is and how good for you it is.
I think we should stop wasting and eating or saving our food. I always feel like "Finally" then I start jumping in my seat wondering what it is. I would seriously die if they canceled it. I know that is you did go to this school you would love the fruit and veggie basket everyday. That is why Spring Creek is so lucky. I think we should have every school get a fruit and veggie basket each day. I mostly like how it's juicy and taste magical each day.
So we should not end it even when I am graduating college. I want the elementary school Spring Creek to have a fruit and veggie snack basket forever. You know how some people just throw it away because they don't want it, well that is not cool at all.
So I say long
live the fruit and veggie
basket.

The food basket

When someone in my class brings the basket up,I get so excited.And when I see the leftover snacks I think of the people who don’t have hat much food.I wish I could grab the leftover snacks and give them to the people who don’t have that much food.

I think we should keep the fruit&vegetable basket.Because what if you don’t get a fruit or vegetable,we don’t have energy for the rest of the day.

Back at my old school Provost Elementary,we didn’t have the fruit &vegetable basket.AfterI had my school lunch,I felt like I didn’t have that much energy for the rest of the day.When I have the fruit &vegetable snack,I have energy for the day.

When you eat the fruit &vegetable you feel really good about yourself that you are eating stuff to get you in good shape.We should keep the food basket to keep us healthy and have a healthy life.
